ABOUT

HATE SPEECH

TRACKER

Hate speech against migrants and refugees has real consequences, but is still used too frequently by political figures as an electoral tool - particularly on the internet.

In advance of the European elections in May, it's more important than ever that highly-visible politicians be held accountable for xenphobia. The resources on this page aim to do just that.

TWITTER

We're following over seven hundred current MEPs, Parliamentary candidates and other European political figures. Each time we spot a Tweet with speech which is xenophobic, racist or simply hateful, we'll encourage the poster to use less divisive language.

Below is a sample of some of our most recent activity. Follow us, and let's work together!

IN YOUR COUNTRY

In many European countries there are national anti-racism organisations which track local examples of hate speech. These groups are all members of the European Network Against Racism, ENAR.

If you'd like to know more about their work and join efforts to report hate speech in your country, you can find your national anti-racism organisation via the links below.
